I suck at random holidays, and Mark is really the least romantic person on this earth. (He does try, bless his heart.) Thats why we usually go out of town for our anniversary/Valentines day. This year we were on the beach in Mexico :-) There wasn't any chocolate or flowers involved, but Pina Coladas will do just fine!
Trevor hates Valentine's Day because he hates being told what to do and when to be "romantic" so I wasn't expecting anything from him. But he did manage to surprise me with a bunch of my favorite edible goodies (chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate milk, raspberries, cookie dough ice cream, and some expensive chocolates that were yummy!). He knows the way to my heart is through food especially while I am pregnant! It wasn't much but it was a nice surprise because I wasn't expecting anything at all. I guess I am a bad wife because I didn't get him anything! Oops!
Valentine's day is my husband Birthday....so it pretty much sucks for me every year. I spend the whole day doing things for him and feeling guilty if he does anything for me, cuz it is HIS bday after all.
We have a fabulous, romantic, and amazing v-day... not really. We went out to lunch while my mom watched our kidlets.. that's about it.
Um, Brent was in Hawaii...with a man. No not that kind of man...his friend. HA! I was here alone, at home, all day! Super fun!
